Jesus came to call sinners, not the righteous. 

Jesus calls us to be fishers of men.

What do we pray for when we pray, "Thy Kingdom Come?"

Jesus has set his face toward Jerusalem to do that which God has willed.  

Jesus' ministry begins, it's explained, and it's rejected. 

Jesus accomplishes that which Adam failed to do.  

Continuing to give us an orderly account of the things that took place, Luke gives us a genealogy of Jesus - and while doing so reminds us of the humanity of Christ, the fact that He is fulfillment of Old Testament promises, and the divinity of Christ.
