It may seem to be the height of hubris to title a sermon, "Just Awesome," but it has nothing to do with the sermon itself, but the content of the text.  This passage of Scripture is ... just... awesome!  

The church's witness in the midst of a hostile world - we shouldn't be surprised.  

The Word of the Lord is both bitter and sweet.  We are called to proclaim the whole counsel of God.  

The Frightening Sound of Trumpets answers so many questions as to why things are the way they are in this world.

Who are the 144,000 of Revelation 7? You might be encouraged. 

Revelation 6 - The Opening of the Seals, Part 1 - These seals, which include what are commonly called the "Four Horsemen," reveal the reality of life between the 1st and 2nd Advents of Christ (his 1st and 2nd Comings), in other words, our present reality. We ought not be surprised by what takes place in our world, the Sovereign Lord has ordained it. We are encouraged to endure in the midst of this world and we are told how one can "stand" in the face of the righteous judgment of God. Do you want to know?

Christmas is about good news of great joy; a Savior who is Christ the Lord was born for you!

Jesus came to this world with a purpose - to save sinners - and He perfectly accomplished that purpose.  

The Lamb who was slain and now reigns is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals.  He is the only One worthy to execute the plan and purposes of God.  Revelation 5 puts Jesus on display as the Lamb who is worthy.  

Revelation 4 begins a new section and a new vision.  The opening scene (chapters 4 & 5) invites John into the great throne room where he sees things as they really are.  The Lord is worthy of all worship, glory, honor, and praise.
