Christ From Every Vantage Point (Revelation 1:9-20)

Revelation tells us the great and grand story of that cosmic battle between God and Satan with the victory belonging to the Lord Jesus.  The Revelation exalts the person and work of the Lord Jesus from different vantage points - but all telling the same story of victory.  

What Is, What's Been Done, What's to Come (Revelation 1:4-8)

The God who is, who was, and is to come has determined the end from the beginning.  After all, He is the Alpha and the Omega.  

Blessed are Those (Revelation 1:1-3, Part 2)

The Scripture promises that those who read or hear and keep the words of the prophecy are blessed - do we believe that?

The battle has already been won.

God Has Spoken (Exodus 20:18-26)

Fear can be a good thing when it drives us to seek refuge in the Lord Jesus.  One of the purposes of the law is to show us the holiness and perfection of God and our own sinfulness before that Law and drive us to the Lord Jesus.  

Content in Christ - Exodus 20:17

The last commandment prohibits covetousness, promotes contentment, and points to Christ.  He is enough!

Tell the Truth (Exodus 20:16)

The danger of lies is that it creates a twisted world of deception. When we lie to ourselves, we never admit our need of Jesus and therefore remain in our sin.  

Love God and Neighbor, Not Rob Them

As with all the commands, the 8th Commandment is a radical call, but God gives radical grace.  

Great is Thy Faithfulness (Exodus 20:14)

God calls his people to sexual purity and fidelity!  Fortunately, when we do what the command prohibits and don't do what it permits, He remains faithful!
