Scandalous Power (1 Corinthians 1:10-31)

Paul moves from reminding the church in Corinth in whom they stand and all the gifts and graces they've been given to now calling them to live in a manner in accord with whose they are.  

Grace and Gifts from a Faithful God (1 Corinthians 1:4-9)

Paul begins his letter to a messy church by giving thanks for God's grace given to them, he reminds them of the gifts God has given to them, and he encourages them in the standing they have in Christ Jesus, and that in Christ Jesus they are guiltless in the day of the Lord.  

The Gospel to a Church in a City (1 Corinthians 1:1-3)

Paul writes to a church in a city much like ours.  With all the woes of the world, Paul doesn't speak to the city but to the church in the world.  

The Glory of Christ in Church Planting (Ephesians 3:7-12)

The church has been given the wonderful privilege of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost, needy, and dying world.

A Trellis Upon the Vine (1 Peter 4:7-11)

God calls us to love one another in a radically different way than the world.  We are called to love one another, serve one another, show hospitality to one another all to the glory of Christ!  We do so, because He has first loved us.  

Identity and Idolatry (Acts 15:1-21)

The church has a government for the honor of Christ and the good of His people.  Major issues are at stake like the core doctrine of justification through faith in Christ alone.  Trusting in anything, or finding one's identity in anything other than Christ, has eternal conseqences.  Jesus is sufficient.  

Honoring Christ with Hospitality (Romans 12:9-13)

We are called to practice hospitality as a way of loving our neighbors.  This call is rooted in the wonderful truth that the Lord has practiced this with us in that while we were sinners, Chirst died for us.  We were strangers, and He brought us near.

The Grand Story of Redemption (Acts 7:1-53)

In Stephen's response to the High Priest, he gives the Grand Story of Redemption explaining that all the Scriptures point to the Lord Jesus and if they miss Christ, they miss the meaning of the Land, the Law, and the Temple.

Shepherding for the Honor of Christ (Acts 20:18-27)

Trinity Grace Church seeks to shepherd and care for God's people within the life of the church.  Why is this so important?  Because Jesus loves His church.  His gave His life for her.  

A Confessional Church (Jude 3-5)

Trinity Grace Church is a confessional church subscribing to the Westminter Standards.  We do this because doctrine matters; and doctrine matters because Jesus matters and because people matter.
