We're taking a look at Christmas in the Old Testament.  The first gospel message given on the heels of one of the most tragic events of human history. 

In contrast to the rich fool, Jesus' disciples are called to hold loosely to the things of this world and seek first His kingdom. This is especially relevant to the world we live in today.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to be the good neighbor.  The foundation to that must be that we recognize that we were the one in the ditch, and the Good Neighbor, the friend of sinners met us there, cleaned us up, healed our wounds, gave us life and gave us a home.
