Trinity Grace Church

Though Edom and Israel share some geography and they share some ancestry, they do not share in the promise.  Only Israel, the people of promise, have the hope of blessing.

As the Psalmist declares....The Lord is our Shepherd...

Ezekiel is called as a watchman for the house of Israel. A faithful watchman sounds the warning trumpet.  Those who hear are called to respond.  

We come to the last of second section of Ezekiel concerning the judgment of surrounding nations.  These four chapters, though they focus on Pharaoh and Egypt are really about God and His people.  

The Lord turns His wrath toward Sidon, another neighbor to Judah; but He also turns to His promise that He will gather His people - pointing to the Lord Jesus as the Great Shepherd of the Sheep.

The Word of the Lord turns to Tyre and her Prince.  

God turns from disciplining His own to punishing those who have stood against them. God is always faithful to His promise and He is the Savior of His people!

As we pick back up our study in Ezekiel, Pastor Miller rewinds and re-introduces the book as we prepare to pick back up in Ezekiel 25 next Sunday.
