Our Great High Priest has accomplished salvation for us.  To paraphrase  R.C. Sproul, "you are saved by works, but those works are not your own."  

God invites us into His rest.  

The author of Hebrews makes a convincing case to believe.  

Moses was faithful in that to which he'd been called.  Jesus was (and is) faithful to that which He'd been called.  But Jesus is greater than Moses - for several reasons.  

Jesus is the perfect, faithful, and merciful High Priest.  He accomplished that for which He was sent.  

It's such a logical argument - if it's to Jesus that the world has been subjected doesn't it make sense to trust Him?

Pastor Brandon VanMarel reminds us of the necessity, and blessing, of being anchored to the Lord Jesus.

Jesus is not only better than the prophets, he is also better than the angels, for he is the Son of God, he is the Creator of all things, and he is the King of kings.
